Five: The spiritual meaning of number Five deals with travel, adventure, and motion. With the highs that come with these attributes, Fives also carry instability and unpredictability, and radical changes. The spiritual meaning of Five draws our attention to the wonder of life, and beckons us to appreciate the perception of chaos all around us. Five has wild vibrations: primitive and erratic. When Five continues to pop up in your life be prepared for some action, like a trip. Remember, trips aren’t all necessarily taken physically. Some of the best journey’s are taken in the mind and spirit.
According to some traditions of Maya mythology, we are now living in the Fifth World.
Considering all that has happened so far in the world I would say that the above is an understatement….yet what we have seen is that humanity has shown great compassion and love and resolve to change …to help…to share….
So today on May 5, 2010….5 5 5555 55…The Divine is in the numbers….no literally….if we can find the center of the tornado…there is calm….last night I had the pleasure to sit in on my Spiritual partner David Tangredi’s class in Austin, TX via Skype…he did a reading for the class as a group and the Hierophant (5), Judgment (20), Wheel of Fortune (10) appeared in the group reading…then and as he read for each of us individually…. those same cards again and again appeared in all of our readings…..as I listened to each reading…. I found that although we had different issues the theme of these 3 cards were a reoccurring theme…that in a time of instability, unpredictability and radical changes….that we can find new ways to deal with the challenges of change…. if we become innovative….in the face of (the Hierophant) which can represent the established ways of how we have always done things…in these times the tried and true is mostly just tried…and tired….new ways of thinking, developing new avenues for experiencing our world…this starts with going into the discernment…clarity (Judgment)…being able to see where we could be changed within…… which always shows up in the environment of our reflection in the mirrors of our lives… when we go within (to the hub of the Wheel of Fortune) where all is calm…entering into the silence…for me this was such a message of how to effect true change…true transformation…entering the silence is meditation…when I meditate I find that there is always an answer to my questions…even when I am not actively asking for an answer…I just go into the void to float and re-center…out of the void comes life!… (really)…life! (creation)…that is why we are here isn’t it….5 is the number of LIFE with all of it’s rules..chaos…. beauty…as I fell asleep last night I realized that being in the eye of the hurricane..the hub of the wheel is only possible when we go into the silence of the void…our interior world there is Peace in the face of Life…5! During the class there were Moths flying around the room in Austin and here in my house…I was drawn to look up the meaning of Moth…(Ted Andrews’ Animal Wise…When moth persist in flying around you, a letter will shortly be coming your way bringing important news….The size of the moth often determine the size of the letter and the importance of the news. (old wives tales..or old wise tales)… we are on notice! Just like the butterfly moths go through a metamorphosis…a transformation…again into the void…to be reborn to a new life…Life 5! If we look at the coming of 2012 as a transformation…..a chance to push the envelope….challenge ourselves to stand up to (the Hierophant) within…to develop discernment and clarity (Judgment) through internal gazing ( I like that term..I just made it up 🙂 by meditating as a daily practice…we enter the void ready to ride the Wheel of Fortune in the hub…experiencing the fullness of LIFE truly in Peace……Oh! by the way Happy Cinco de Mayo!
